If you are looking for a relatively cheap yet durable iPhone case, look no further than the Otterbox Impact. This little baby just arrived in the mail and I am loving it more and more. You paid a lot of money for your iPhone so it’s only right that you protect that bad boy from drops, bumps and scratches. Of course, you were looking for a way to do just that without breaking your wallet so pay attention here!
I know that there are a lot of iPhone cases out there in the market but finding one that offers good protection while not too high in price might seem a little difficult. Until of course, I spotted the Otterbox Impact over at (where else?!) Amazon. For less than $11, yes you read that number correctly, the Impact could be yours. I’m sure you can find similar priced iPhone cases but I’m sure it won’t offer the same protection as the Impact. Prior to the purchase, this was what I was using:

Needless to say, all buttons on your phone are easily accessible. There are no port fillers to cover your audio port or the charging port on the bottom. For me, the other killer feature is that the case also covers over your iPhone home button. When looking at iPhone cases, one of the major turn-off (at least in my case) is leaving the entire front of the iPhone open. As you can imagine, that doesn’t offer a lot of protection for your screen. As far as extra bulk and weight goes, it doesn’t seem that bad. It does add a little weight but that’s the trade-off you have to make with any case cover for the added protection. Fortunately, it’s not that big of a difference unless you are super picky.

For a more in depth look at the Otterbox Impact iPhone case, take a look at two of these reviews which I have gone over as well prior to my purchase:

As of right now, Amazon is selling the Otterbox Impact for $10.42, to be exact. The white version of the case is a bit more, standing at $14.34. I am not sure if the price will jump back to its original or not so if you want it, you should act fast!

In the End…
I’ll make things short and sweet here. If you have around $10-$15 dollars to spend on an iPhone case, make it the Otterbox Impact! Cheap, rugged, durable, comfortable, it’s the complete package. Well, maybe not but it’s pretty darn close for what you’re paying!
Of course, if anyone has other awesome suggestions for good yet cheap iPhone cases, please do share!
